710 Freeway to reopen after truck rollover

Long Beach freeway re-opens The 710 Freeway through Bell and Cudahy was scheduled to reopen by 7:15 a.m. after southbound lanes were closed when a cement truck rolled over.

The truck overturned on the highway near Florence Avenue about 3:50 a.m., forcing the California Highway Patrol to close southbound lanes and detour traffic through the surrounding towns of Cudahy, Bell and Bell Gardens.

Traffic delays related to the accident have been reported as far north as Interstate 5.
