Bravo said network officials were "deeply saddened" at the death of Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Taylor Armstrong, who hanged himself in his bedroom, leaving no suicide note, according to authorities.

“All of us at Bravo are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Our sympathy and thoughts are with the Armstrong family at this difficult time," Bravo said in a statement.

Armstrong, 47, was pronounced dead at 8:16 p.m. Monday, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said.

His body was found in a home on the 1400 block of Mulholland Drive, Winter said.

Armstrong, a venture capitalist, had separated from his wife but had been featured on the show.
