August 3, 2011 |  9:38 am

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s SWAT team has been dispatched to Castaic where a burglary suspect has barricaded himself inside a home, authorities said Wednesday.

Sheriff’s deputies were conducting a follow-up investigation of a burglary case when the suspect holed up inside the home near Hillcrest Parkway, authorities said.

He’s possibly armed, though no one is believed to be inside with him, Sgt. Kevin Blake said.

The suspect has been inside since around 8 a.m.
