Woman in car shot to death in Sun Valley

Sun Valley shooting
Los Angeles police were trying to determine Thursday who shot a 25-year-old woman to death in a car in Sun Valley.

Jennifer Logan, of North Hollywood, and an unidentified 22-year-old man were in a car near Webb Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when at least one attacker opened fire on them, police said.

Logan was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where she was pronounced dead a few hours later, said Ed Winter, assistant chief of the L.A. County Coroner's office.

The man was in stable condition, a police spokesman said. Police had not arrested any suspects.
