Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Taylor Armstrong, hanged himself in his bedroom, leaving no suicide note, authorities said Tuesday.

Armstrong, 47, was pronounced dead at 8:16 p.m. Monday, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said.

His body was found in a home on the 1400 block of Mulholland Drive, Winter said.

Armstrong, a venture capitalist, had separated from his wife but had been featured on the show.
