Newport Beach doctor missing in Arizona

Authorities continued to search Friday for a Newport Beach doctor who went missing near Tucson, Ariz.

Kenneth Litwack, 71, an infectious-disease physician, checked into a treatment center last weekend, and disappeared Tuesday afternoon, said Litwack's wife, Louise Litwack, according to the Daily Pilot.

Friends and family members have gone to Tucson to search for Litwack, said family friend Ben Sheffner.

Authorities were searching by all-terrain vehicle and air.
