Twitter timeline of The Game's 'telephone flash mob'

Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials are continuing their investigation into rapper The Game and the tweets that sparked a "telephone flash mob" Friday night that jammed emergency phone lines.

Authorities say the rapper sent out a tweet containing a number for the Compton station, urging people to call it if they wanted an internship with him.

The phone number went out to the rapper's 580,000 followers. Shortly after 5 p.m., a deluge of calls to the Sheriff's Department prevented deputies from responding quickly to emergencies.

See how it played out on Twitter.
