Wreck leaves two people dead in Hacienda Heights

Crash The California Highway Patrol has closed off both directions of Turnbull Canyon Road in Hacienda Heights after two people were killed in a wreck.

The accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. near Skyline Drive, where at least one vehicle went off the side of the canyon road, according to CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos. "We don't know if it's a solo-vehicle accident or if another vehicle was involved," he said.

Coroner investigators are en route to the scene, as is a tow truck with a 100-foot-long cable, Villalobos said.
