Where the fireworks are this weekend

Dozens of communities in Southern California have planned fireworks shows this weekend.

Fourth of July celebrations kick off Saturday with a 10 p.m. show at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood Hills, which follows a Hall and Oates concert.

[For the record, 1:27 p.m. July 2: A previous version of this post said celebrations began with an 8:30 p.m. show Saturday at Hollenbeck Park in Boyle Heights. The Hollenbeck Park show will be 8:45 p.m. Sunday.]
