Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department went at about 12:30 a.m. to a house in the 5000 block of 112th Street, where a group had been watching fireworks, Sgt. Michael Strickland said.

Strickland offered little information on the shooter, describing the suspect only as a man in a “dark-colored vehicle.” The group of gunshot victims, which included both men and women, were taken to local hospitals.

All but one have been treated and released, he said.
