Man's body found on eastbound 10 Freeway in Pomona

PedFatal

The California Highway Patrol was investigating how a man ended up dead Tuesday morning on the eastbound 10 Freeway in Pomona.

The body of a man in his twenties had been struck by several vehicles by the time officers arrived to find it in the roadway west of the Dudley Street offramp shortly before 4:30 a.m., said CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos.

The two right-hand lanes will remain blocked for several hours while investigators try to determine what the man was doing on the freeway and how he died, Villalobos said.
