Oceanside couple found dead in home in apparent murder-suicide

Oceanside police are investigating the apparent murder-suicide of a husband and wife whose bodies were found in their home Monday after neighbors reported that the couple had not been seen for a week.

 Police said a note, dated June 24, indicated that the 53-year-old husband killed the 46-year-old wife and then committed suicide.
