Carlos Jaime, 26, gets down on one knee as he proposes to Jasmine Geider on her 27th birthday Saturday in front of a basketball games booth at the O.C. Fair. The couple grew up in Costa Mesa and Geider is an intern for the O.C. Fair and Events Communications Department. Geider said "yes." Six years ago, the two had their first official date at the O.C. Fair. Jaime played and won a prize for Geider. On Saturday, Jaime brought Geider back to the same game, this time winning a smaller gift, an engagement ring. The ring was kept safe by one of Jaime's friends, who Geider had not met before, who pretended to be a basketball game worker.
