The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested a man accused of stalking actress Halle Berry.

Law enforcement sources said that the suspect was arrested Monday night after jumping the wall at Berry's home. The incident was recorded on security cameras, the sources said.

Officers arrested Richard A. Franco, an unemployed Los Angeles man and self-described community college student in his mid-20s.

Sources familiar with the investigation said Franco scaled a concrete wall surrounding Berry's home and was immediately confronted by security guards on the property. He did not resist and cooperated fully with officers, according to sources familiar with the investigation. They immediately the called the LAPD and he was arrested on suspicion of felony stalking.

In 2004, Berry received a restraining order against another man who allegedly was stalking the Oscar-winning actress.
