Suspects sought in fatal Pacoima drive-by shooting

Pinney Authorities sought the public's help Thursday in finding the suspects involved in what police believe was a gang-related drive-by shooting in Pacoima that left a 20-year-old man dead.

Police said officers responded to the shooting around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 13100 block of Pinney Street, where they found four gunshot victims, including Los Angeles resident Angel Lopez, who later died.

The other victims were in stable condition, authorities said.

The four men were sitting in front of a residence when a car drove up and someone began firing numerous rounds at them, authorities said. "The motive for this murder appears to be gang-related," Los Angeles Police Department officials said in a statement.

Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide detectives at (818) 834-3115. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 877-LAPD-24-7.
