Suspect in fatal stabbing of 12-year-old identified
The man arrested in the fatal stabbing of a 12-year-old boy in Anaheim has been identified by police as 18-year-old Bryan Ocampo, KTLA-TV reported.
He was detained Monday evening for questioning and was later arrested on suspicion of homicide. He was being held without bail.
The victim, identified by KTLA-TV as Juan Martinez, a Sycamore Junior High School student, was stabbed about 2:40 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of East La Palma Avenue, across from Sycamore Junior High School.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene and died at a hospital.
