Six people wounded in shooting at South Los Angeles motorcycle club

Six people were wounded in a shooting early Saturday at a motorcycle club in South Los Angeles, police said.

The shooting occurred shortly after 2 a.m. at the club near the intersection of 83rd Street and Central Avenue, said LAPD Sgt. Tim O’Gorman.

All of those injured were taken to local hospitals for treatment, O’Gorman said. Two of those injured were in critical condition.

It was unclear what prompted the shooting or how many people were involved, he said. But different shell casings were found at the scene.

“There was a party out at the club and either somebody came to the party or people who were hanging out in front started shooting,” he said. “Whether it was one person, we don’t know.”

No arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation.
