Two hurt in mishap at San Diego County Fair
A ride operator and a female fairgoer at the San Diego County Fair were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries Tuesday in an apparent mishap after the ride was completed.
"Both were talking and were coherent when transported" from the Del Mar Fairgrounds, said a fair spokeswoman.
The operator was taken by ground transportation, the fairgoer by helicopter.
The ride has been shut down.
