One killed, two injured in Compton shooting

A man was killed and two others injured in a shooting Saturday in Compton, authorities said.
The shooting happened at 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of North Grape Avenue and Nord Street, said Deputy Aura Sierra of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.
One of the victims, an 18-year-old, succumbed to his injuries, she said. She could not provide any further details about the incident or the condition of the other victims.
