Nicolas Cage's son hospitalized after fight in Hollywood

Cat0ydljLos Angeles police are investigating an altercation in Hollywood involving the son of actor Nicolas Cage, department officials said Tuesday.

Details were still sketchy, but sources familiar with the case said Weston Cage, 20, began fighting with an unidentified individual around 4:10 p.m. near the intersection of Selma Avenue and Ivar Avenue.

The cause of the incident was unclear, but Weston Cage was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with unspecified injuries, the sources said, adding that he was accompanied by his father.

It was not immediately clear if Weston Cage had been questioned in connection with the incident or if the incident was being treated as a crime, the sources said.
