O.C. man charged with murder in Lake Forest stabbing
A Lake Forest man was charged Wednesday with murdering a 26-year-old man and critically wounding another during a knife attack at a parking lot in the Orange County city, authorities said.
Justin Alvin Masao Tombleson, 28, was charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder and sentencing enhancements that included using a weapon to cause great bodily injury, the Orange County district attorney's office said.
Deputies were called to the parking lot of the Albatros Mexican restaurant about 2 a.m Saturday because of a fight involving several patrons and found two men stabbed.
Elvis Kechechian, 26, of Mission Viejo, died at a hospital. The other victim was in critical condition.
Deputies believe the incident began when four men and three women were involved in an argument inside the restaurant that continued outside.
An attacker stabbed the two victims and ran away.
