Jewelry store robbery, gunfire at Century City mall

Los Angeles Police Department officials said the incident occurred around 12:05 p.m.

A suspect took jewelry from the store and fired at least one shot in the air as he ran away. He got into a waiting car and sped off, police said.

No one was hurt, and police are investigating. It's unclear what type of jewelry was stolen.
