Dodgers bankruptcy filing: 'McCourt is a carpetbagger,' fan says
Dana Reid just laughed when he heard the Dodgers had declared bankruptcy.
"McCourt is a carpetbagger, and what he's done to one of the most historical franchises in Major League Baseball is absurd," the 43-year-old Los Angeles insurance salesman said.
Reid called McCourt's earlier plan to salvage team finances with a Fox TV deal to air games "beyond legal" because part of the money would go to his divorce settlement, not the team.

And, he said, it's time for Commissioner Bud Selig and Major League Baseball to take over the team entirely.
McCourt "has taken way more out of the team than he's put in," Reid said. "People have reached the threshold."
