Dodgers bankruptcy filing: 'It's mismanagement,' fan says

D1 Jorge Herrera of East Los Angeles said Monday that filing for bankruptcy was the wrong move for Dodgers' owner Frank McCourt.

The Dodgers filed for bankruptcy protection Monday.

Herrera worried the city would end up losing another team to a different city.

"Who's going to pay the rest of the debt?" asked Herrera, 28, an assistant hospital administrator. "It's bad for the city because jobs will be lost, from the top on down."

He said he believed McCourt and not Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig was squarely to blame for the team's financial troubles.

"It's mismanagement, that's all," he said.
