Dodgers bankruptcy filing: Unruly fans to blame for team's troubles, Long Beach resident says

Frank and Jamie McCourt.

A Dodgers fan from Long Beach said Monday that he believed it was the team's increasingly unruly fans, not owner Frank McCourt, who are driving the franchise into bankruptcy.

The Dodgers filed for bankruptcy protection Monday.

"If people don't feel safe going to games because of the people attending the games, that's more determinate than what the owner does," said Duncan McIntosh, 53, a state transportation administrator.
