Burned body found in La Palma

A burned body was found Wednesday near Moody Street and Orangethorpe Avenue in La Palma, authorities said.

Orange County firefighters responding to the scene about 6 a.m. discovered the body, said Capt. Greg McKeown of the Orange County Fire Authority.

The body was believed to be that of a male, he said. No further details were immediately available.
