Apartment fire breaks out in Los Feliz

Los Firefighters treated an unknown number of occupants of a Los Feliz apartment building for smoke inhalation Monday afternoon after a fire broke out at the two-story complex.

The fire was reported in the 1900 block of Talmadge Street at 1:13 p.m., and firefighters knocked it down in 20 minutes, said Matt Spence, spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No other injuries were reported, and the fire was contained to one unit on the second floor of the building.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
