3.4 earthquake is recorded near Ojai

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Friday afternoon near Ojai.

The temblor occurred at 5:58 p.m. about 11 miles north of Ojai and 57 miles from downtown Los Angeles.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the temblor was felt in parts of Ventura County, including Oxnard.
