3 killed, 1 critically wounded in Riverside County shooting

Riverside County shootings Three people were killed, and another was critically wounded Thursday after gunfire broke out in the desert in Riverside County.

Deputies initially found the critically injured victim, who said there were possibly others who had been shot, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

The three bodies were found in a nearby field by 62nd Avenue and Harrison Street in Thermal, the department said.

Cpl. Courtney Donowho told The Times that investigators had not identified suspects in the shootings, which occurred shortly before 8 a.m.
