Two bodies found in Culver City home [Updated]

Click here for a Times homicide database Detectives in Culver City on Tuesday evening were investigating an incident involving two bodies found inside a home.

Police were alerted after a person called 911, saying that he had found a body inside the residence near Washington Boulevard and Huron Avenue, said Capt. Dave Tankenson of the Culver City Police Department.

Officers responded and discovered two bodies inside the home.

"We're considering it a crime scene," Tankenson told The Times. He declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation.

[Updated, 7:45 p.m.: At least five homicides have been reported in Culver City since January 2007, according to The Times' Homicide Report database.]
