Temperatures hit low 90s across Southern California

Temperatures reached the low 90s across Southern California on Monday as high pressure settled over the region.

In Los Angeles County, Chatsworth topped out at 90 degrees, Pasadena recorded 87 degrees and Long Beach Airport hit 89 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

In Orange County, the temperatures reached 94 in Santa Ana and 90 in Lake Forest and Anaheim. Along the coast, Huntington Beach was 87 degrees, according to the weather service.

In Riverside County, Riverside hit 92 degrees and Corona reached 90. Carlsbad Airport in San Diego County topped out at 93 degrees, and San Diego recorded 87 degrees.

The summer-like weather is expected to continue into Wednesday as warm, offshore winds continue to blow across Southern California, the weather service said.
