Rain possible in L.A. for Mother's Day

After a week-long heat wave, Southern California will cool down this weekend, with a chance of light rain Sunday for Mother's Day.

High temperatures will reach the 70s on Saturday and only the mid-60s on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

On Sunday, scattered drizzle and light rain is possible in some areas, with a 20% chance of rain. Conditions should clear up by Monday but should remain cool.
