Police search for man with rifle seen near L.A. Trade Tech campus

Los Angeles police closed off streets around the corner of 23rd Street and Grand Avenue south of downtown amid reports of a man carrying a high-powered rifle.

Witnesses reported seeing the man near the L.A. Trade Tech campus. KTLA-TV Channel 5 showed video of LAPD officers and L.A. County Sheriff's Department deputies massing around the campus to search for the man. Traffic in the area has been disrupted.

It's unclear whether witnesses reported gunfire.
