Overturned big rig closes northbound Interstate 5 near Newhall Pass

Northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Newhall Pass were shut down Wednesday morning after a semi-truck overturned, authorities said.

The 10:41 a.m. incident prompted authorities to shut all northbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities did not immediately know how long the closure would last. There were no reports of injuries.
