Five injured, one critically, in Canoga Park car crash

Five people were injured, one critically, in a two-car collision Saturday afternoon in Canoga Park, authorities said.

The accident occurred about 5:25 p.m. in the 21400 block of West Saticoy Street, said Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

All five were taken to area hospitals, he said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
