Elderly couple found dead in Carlsbad trailer home; suicide suspected

The Carlsbad police are investigating the apparent suicide of an elderly married couple found dead in their bed in their trailer home, officials said.

Kathryn Kies Wigley and Harold Willard Wigley, both 86, were found Thursday by their children, who had come to check on their welfare. The county medical examiner has tentatively ruled the deaths as suicide.
