Alleged lewd behavior by Andy Dick won't be investigated by police

May 18, 2011 |  6:51 am

Andydick Newport Beach police do not plan to investigate a report of alleged lewd behavior by actor Andy Dick at a Newport Beach Film Festival party last month because no crime was reported, Sgt. Steve Burdette said.

The alleged incident may be handled "in house," between Dick and the film festival's organizers, Burdette said.

Dick's alleged misbehavior included urinating on a display-booth backdrop and exposing himself; he allegedly caused a couple of thousand dollars in damage, RadarOnline and the Orange County Register reported.

Film festival officials have been in contact with Dick's representatives, the Register reported.
