3 dead in apparent murder-suicide in San Jose State parking garage

Three people were killed in a San Jose State University campus garage in an apparent murder-suicide, authorities said Wednesday.

Police were called to the parking garage just before 9 p.m. Tuesday and found three people with gunshot wounds.

Two were pronounced dead at the scene and a third died at a hospital, said campus police dispatcher Adam Belsey.

Authorities believe one person committed suicide after shooting the other two, though an investigation was ongoing. It was unclear if the three were students or what the motive may have been.
