Family of four fatally shot in suspected East L.A. murder-suicide

Two adults and two children were fatally shot Saturday night in what L.A. Sheriff's Department officials believed was a murder-suicide.

After receiving a call at about 10:30 p.m. of shots having been fired, deputies pulled over a man driving near the corner of Hicks Avenue and Olympic Boulevard. Before they could question him, the man shot himself.

In the car with him were the mortally wounded bodies of his wife, 32, and their 6-year-old twins, Det. Eddie Brown told KTLA.

Brown told the station the couple had been arguing earlier in the day.
