Woman's body found in storage container near 5 Freeway offramp in Boyle Heights
Los Angeles police were trying to determine Tuesday who killed a woman and dumped her nude body in a plastic storage container next to a Boyle Heights freeway offramp.
A homeless person called police after finding the body in a broken-open container in the brush next to southbound Interstate 5 at State Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Monday, according to an official at the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollenbeck Station.
Police are investigating the woman's death as a homicide and believe she may have been killed somewhere else and dumped at the site.
The L.A. County coroner's office was working to identify the woman and determine how she died.

Friend of Friend - I'm praying that it's not your friend. And if it isn't I hope where ever she is, she's safe.

Do you think this could have a connection with the other body that was found in the Los Angeles river (Esmeralda Gutierrez) on April 15th 2011?

She was my neighbor. I didn't no know her that well, but I have spoken to her when a passed her home. She was a kind sweet little girl, yes I said little girl because she was someones little girl, her life was just beginning. She loved her orange cat very much and every time I see her picture on donation cans she is holding her cat it breaks my heart. Rest in Peace .

She was my neighbor, I didn't know her that well but we spoke when I passed her home while walking my dogs. She had a yellow cat that she loved very much, she is pictured with her cat on donations cans I have seen in several locations. She was a kind sweet little girl with her life ahead of her. I refer to her as a little girl because she was someone's little girl. I miss not seeing her sitting on her apartment stairs talking with friends. Rest in peace Michelle.
Your neighbor Ruby
