April 26, 2011 |  8:57 pm

Temperatures reached the low 80s from Ventura to Riverside counties Tuesday, and warm weather was expected to continue across the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures topped out at 82 degrees at UCLA, 83 in Burbank and 82 in Ojai, the Weather Service said.

In Riverside County, Lake Elsinore and Hemet recorded highs of 80 degrees.

The Weather Service said the warm weather was being caused by offshore winds resulting from high pressure over the region. Temperatures were expected to be warmer on Wednesday.
