April 16, 2011 |  1:56 pm

One person was killed in a shooting near Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday, police said.

A man and a woman were sitting in a parked white Cadillac outside the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel at about 11:30 a.m. when another man walked up to the car and allegedly fired two shots inside, hitting the man once in the right shoulder and once in the head, said LAPD Sgt. Richard Parks. The suspect then ran away, he said.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood and died at about 1:30 p.m. The woman in the car was unhurt, the sergeant said. Police are still looking for the suspect.
