Lindsay Lohan almost left jewelry store with diamond earring, saleswoman testifies

Lindsay
A Venice jewelry store worker testified Friday that four days before a necklace was stolen, allegedly by Lindsay Lohan, the actress almost walked out of the shop with a diamond earring in her ear.

Tinelli Comsooksri testified that Lohan tried on a pair of earrings Jan. 18 and put one down but left one in her ear. As Lohan was leaving, the store employee testified, "I reminded her she had one earring in."

Comsooksri, who works at Kamofie and Co., said Lohan replied, "She was sorry."

The sales assistant said that after the incident, she emailed her bosses to inform them about what happened.

Deputy Dist. Atty. Danette Meyers told Judge Stephanie Sautner she was introducing the incident to show evidence of intent in the theft of a necklace Jan. 22. Lohan faces grand-theft charges in connection with the stealing of the necklace.

The actress has been adamantly opposed to a plea deal offered by a prior judge that would have sentenced her to no more than 90 days in jail.

"Ms. Lohan has maintained her innocence from the moment this case was filed, and she has never wavered," her attorney, Shawn Holley, said recently. "Though many advised her to follow the safe route by taking 'the deal,' the truth is, Ms. Lohan is innocent; she has a strong defense, and we are confident that a jury will listen to the evidence fairly and acquit her."

Lindsay Lojack is showing a pattern.

"Oh, I forgot and I'm sorry".

Tell it to the judge!

Said employee should have reminded her she was still wearing their necklace, and all of this could have been avoided.

Excuse me, but did that store clerk just admit to allowing patrons to put earrings in their ear without first paying for it? If they don't do they just put it out again for sale. Is it just me but are there some health code violations going on in that store? Anybody who ever had an infection after buying earrings there now has a good case against the store that sold it to them.

Why would a hollywood movies star, steal something that she already has? and certainly could have bought easily

It doesn't make sense to me; she is innocent.

why would anyone try to steal one earring?
is she gonna sell it on ebay?

this case looks made up i guess.

What Coomsookri said about her experience dealing with Lohan on the earrings should surely have made the store even more vigilant about letting her walk out unchallenged with the necklace. WHY? Because there was some tacit understanding about letting Lohan take the necklace. I hope the jury feels the same way.

Does any American of color doubt that there is a double standard of law and justice when reading the story of this sorry hollywood hoe? They got her on tape stealing, she has a history of shoplifting even while earning millions, and yet this crackhead hoe goes to court endlessly and will eventually get off with a slap on the hand. The law is wasted on the rich.

If Lindsay Lohan almost walked out of the store with a pair of earrings, then why was she allowed back into the store?

If I let a customer walk out of the store with $2500 in merchandise I'd be going to jail. What kind of attention span did the clerk have? This all sounds like a scam to me
Thieving foreigners trying to extort $$$ from a young lady with a drinking problem. Venice beach scumbags. For all those haters, fame isn't easy. wealth and power go together and take some effort to control.

Lock her up. She violated her probation, first by this arrest and then she got a traffic ticket the other day. She's no better than anyone else. The law applies to all equally.

innocent? my a**. guilty and very troubled. she should try working with the needy for a year or so to get a grip on reality and realize that having diamonds and such don't make you a better person.

she's been caught stealing in the past. Obviously nothing has changed. 120 days is squat for what she deserves. Face it, she's a loser.

andrewsome------please qualify your remark, referring to Venice Beach scumbags? Who the hell are you to judge people? And what make you think you have the right to judge people? You must live a sad and lonely life.

watch the video where the clerk was all smiles when letting lilo out. same clerk who said she 'almost' stole one earring.

I hope lindsay win this one.. Its hard to be beautiful and famous without getting hate from losers.

Lindsay surely believes she is above the law and it only applies to the "little people". Unfortunately the legal system does too.

I think that LiLo really is THAT DUMB. But dumb isn't a crime.
