April 16, 2011 |  9:10 am

Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in four L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of Los Angeles Police Department data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.

Four neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. West Adams (A) was the most unusual, recording 11 reports compared with a weekly average of 2.8 over the last three months.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for April 5–April 11, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
