Hot weather returns: 100 at Coachella music festival, 90s in valleys
Another heat wave is expected to hit Southern California, with temperatures expected to reach the low 90s by Friday in some valley areas.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will begin rising Thursday, with highs in the 70s along the coast and in the 80s in the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys.
Friday will be even warmer, with temperatures hitting the 90s in the San Fernando Valley. Around L.A., temperatures will cool just a bit for the weekend.
In the Coachella Valley, music fans going to the Coachella Music Festival can expect temperatures to hit the mid-90s Friday and 100 Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
