4 cats found mutilated in El Monte park

El Monte police are looking for the person who left four mutilated dead cats in a city park over the past few weeks.

The bodies of the cats were found, their mouths and legs bound with duct tape, in the same area of Rio Vista Park on three separate days, KTLA-TV Channel 5  reported. In one case, the animal’s stomach was cut open and one of its legs skinned.

Police said they have no suspects in the case but believe the same person committed all of the crimes.

Anyone with information is asked to call El Monte police at (626) 580-2109.

This kind of horrific animal abuse is exactly what we are now going to fight through our Patrick's Law cause!

A serial feline killer on the loose?

Very painful reading this. Only someone very disturbed would do such a wicked act.

This is sickening. I cannot stand abuse to animals. It makes me depressed. This person needs to be found. I would love to give them the death penalty. Obviously that is unrealistic in the real world but if I had it my way I definitely would. I don't see how anyone can abuse an animal, or abuse something that can't even talk. I want to throw up just thinking about this story. That person who did that is utter trash in society.

This person is a serial killer in the making. I live in El Monte. This makes me very scared.

I agree with all 5 of the comments on here so far. I saw this on the news last night. It's just sickening!!! Way to go Patrick's Law I've been following your new website.
