Warm weather gives way to clouds, cold and a chance of rain in L.A. area

March 6, 2011 |  9:11 am

The warm, clear Saturday might have felt like spring had come early to Southern California.

But forecasters predict cooling temperatures for the next few days -- with a slight chance of rain.

The National Weather Service said temperatures would reach only the high 60s and low 70s Sunday with clouds and a 20% chance of rain in the evening.

The first part of the week will see highs in the mid-60s and lows in the 40s.

By contrast, temperatures got into the 80s Saturday in parts of the San Fernando Valley.
