Two sailors were killed and one was injured Monday in a vehicle rollover accident during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton.

The three were in a seven-ton water truck that was part of the Pacific Horizon exercise, which trains troops on how to bring equipment ashore. They were from Amphibious Construction Battalion 1. The truck was on an inland road at the sprawling base.

No names were released. The injured sailor is listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
