March 27, 2011 | 11:43 am

Three people were stabbed in a Garden Grove restaurant and a 41-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the attack, police said Sunday.

The three victims, all family members, suffered “very minor superficial wounds,” said Garden Grove police Sgt. Chris Lawton. The attack occurred at the Thien An restaurant in the 13500 block of Harbor Boulevard around 3:15 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Police said the assailant was sitting at a separate table from the victims -– who were 27, 31 and 60 -– in the restaurant when an altercation began. A 10-year-old child who was with the victims was unhurt, Lawton said.
