Michael Lohan possibly faces multiple felonies in alleged domestic violence incident

Michael Lohan Michael Lohan potentially faces multiple felony charges in connection with a domestic dispute at a West Hollywood apartment, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said Tuesday.

The father of actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested Monday night on suspicion of false imprisonment, corporal injury on a cohabitant and preventing a report of victimization, said Steve Whitmore, spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

The L.A. County district attorney's office had not yet filed charges, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.

Sheriff's deputies were called around 9 p.m. to the 8500 block of Holloway Avenue in relation to a domestic dispute, Whitmore said.

Michael Lohan was later arrested a short distance from the West Hollywood sheriff's station when deputies saw him walking in the 8800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.

After being booked, Lohan was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after complaining of "a medical condition not related to the incident," sheriff's officials said in a statement. His bail was set at $200,000.

The alleged victim, who was not identified, had minor injuries but refused treatment from Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.

Michael Lohan's arrest comes as Lindsay Lohan awaits a preliminary hearing on grand theft charges for allegedly stealing a necklace from a Venice jewelry store.

It doesn't matter what they say about you, as long as they keep talking about you.... Lindsay never stood a chance.

Family full of morons.

What an idiot. The Mother is a piece of work too...

Lindsey Lohan is the product of two despicable people. I think one needs to factor that into the equation before rushing to judgement. Just sayin, nuff said.

like father, like daugther

Well each member of this family sure is consistant!!!!!

He and his daughter should be sharing a jail cell. Low lifes.

the Lohan's could star in their own Reality Show;
"Trailer Trash with Millions", the modern day "Beverly Hill-billies.
we'll just call dad "Jethro", put her down son, let her go Jethro.
Lindsey could be Ellie-Mae's evil twin sister "Lindsey-Mae".
